Refund Policy

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your replacement item will be sent to you. We offer replacements for all returns or store credits of equivalent value. We do not offer monetary refunds.

In all situations the buyer (you) must pay the postage to return the item to us. This item must be sent with tracking so proof of delivery can be provided. There will also be a $10 USD (world) / $5 USD (Australia) restocking fee applicable if your returned item is not found to be broken or defective.

 

Monetary Refund (if applicable)

We do not offer monetary refunds only replacements or store credit of equivalent value. If situations arise where in our sole discretion we elect to refund you and not replace then the below will apply:

If we send you a refund there will also be a 2.9% +30cents of transaction amount USD refund fee deducted from your refund to compensate for our credit card charges which are not refundable.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at help@podsbay.com.

Change of Mind (if applicable)
PodsBay does not by default accept returns because you changed your mind about your purchase. If we have shipped your item we do not accept change of mind returns. If we have not shipped your item however please contact us at help@podsbay.com and we will refund your order.

Under special circumstances we may accept a genuine change of mind refund however a $5.00 USD (for Australia) or $10.00 USD (Rest of World) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund and you must pay the return postage to us.

If we process you a refund then a charge of $1 USD will be deducted from it to compensate for our credit card charge fees.

 

Refunds or Replacement for Lost Items (if applicable)

We do not accept responsibility for lost shipments if you entered your address incorrectly that your country's postal service cannot find an accurate address which led to your shipment becoming lost. In these situations we will refund you minus our cost of unit and postage which is determined in our sole discretion the value as each product has a different cost.


Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. This includes custom orders that were discounted or discount codes used on an order.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at help@podsbay.com

Shipping
To return your product, please contact us at help@podsbay.com and we will provide you instructions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If your total value order was greater than $140 USD we will offer you free returns shipping up to the value of $15 USD in credit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

You are required to use a tracked shipment for all returns to provide proof of delivery. Failure to use a tracked delivery service means we don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

*All refunds are ultimately at our sole discretion and your purchase of products from us indicates your agreement to these Terms and Conditions
